RHEL Desktop vs. RHEL ES OR AS

Hello to every one.

I am in a gr8 confusion abt wht is the basic difference between Rhel DEskto and Its other version like WS,ES AS.

Because as far as packages are conserned they r the same. So wht happen if we install desktop OR Ws in a server.
Wht type of performance constarints it will impose?

If any body could help

Thanks

they are simply certified to different levels and AS contains larger memory kernels, other than that they are exactly the same.

as long as you don't plan on running an enterprise level clustered instance of OracleRAC on your little desktop, you'll be fine.
