redhat not detect the disk

Hello, I am an intern in a box and beginner in linux.
I wanted to install redhat enteprise 5.2 on ibm server x3550M3 but at the beginning of the installation it not detects the video card and disk.
After some research I have known it could be that it is the driver for the raid card is not recognized.
how can I integrated this driver in the iso or during the installation of red hat.
Thank you in advance for your help

You're in a good spot for a beginner. Red Hat enterprise on an IBM server is a supported configuration....and since you have support from both IBM and Red Hat, you can call them. I'd start by calling IBM support, since they probably have drivers for the hardware in question. Also, you don't say what kind of controller you have, but unless you first define the array in the system/controller BIOS first, the OS installer won't see the target.

Again, call IBM and/or Red Hat support with those details.

In addition to the normal BIOS, there should be a configuration screen for the RAID controller. Watch carefully during bootup. Once you find the configuration screen, it should be fairly self-explanatory.

Do you have the support from Red hat and IBM?

then you do not install the OLD RHEL5.2 ( RHEL: 5.8 IS the current in the old 5 series )
You have to buy a server license
https://www.redhat.com/apps/store/server/

and i would USE RHEL 6.3 unless YOU 100% MUST use the old 5
then install RHEL 5.8

if you are not going to spend the $349 to $1299/ year USD ( and if you have to ask then YOU NEED the $799 or $1299)
then install one of the FREE rebuilds
but then YOU DO NOT get any tech support - YOU are your OWN tech support
CentOS 6.3

Again, you don't say what kind of controller, and when you buy an IBM server, you also buy support. Again..call IBM if you're having driver/configuration problems. When your server is booting, you'll see a BIOS for the computer, and for the controller. How you do it depends on the controller...have you tried reading the manual that came with your server?

And if you're not going to BUY Red Hat enterprise, don't use it. All you'll wind up with is a server that WILL NOT get bugfixes/patches/updates, and will be unstable after a while. So purchase Red Hat support, or use CentOS instead.

gatta;

Please respond to all of the advice and comments you are being given---for example, I suggested a way to configure the RAID---and several people have mentioned the whole issue of paid support vs. using something like CentOS.
