RedHat Network update tool problem


Hello i ahve recently installed redhat 9 and i am now trying to update my
components, when ever i open the redhat updater it asks for my username and
password for the redhat network, i type it in get to the end and i get an
error message "there was an error registering your username" i can log on
through the website using that username, or if i create anotherone it will
still not work. i then get the following jargon at the end in a error
window:

RedHat 9 is very old and was discontinued many years ago. You should upgrade to something newer, like FC4, which has nice package managers like Yum. If you still plan on using RedHat 9, set up Yum for Fedora Legacy (RH9 instructions).
