Postfix Question (relay mail)

I have postfix up and running with Dovecot. My MUA of Thunderbird on the client system. It's working fine, this is a testing environment.

However I need help to do the following:
Configure an MTA to forward (relay) email through a smart host

I'm using RHEL6 as the server and the client is Fedora 14.
