Message with kernel No module aic7xxx found for kernel 2.4.28

I ran make install and got this message "no module aic7xxx found for kernel 2.4.28"
I selected yes for aic7xxx, do I need to set it as a module?

Is this an error or a warning? no module aic7xxx found for kernel 2.4.28

Hi This is a module used most of the time for scsi devices

Can you see all your scsi devices and then what scsi controller are you using ... are you using any scsi devices or are you using IDE
