linuxconf problem


Im using RedHat Linux 9.0 and run linuxconf command in the shell,
but it failed with the line "bash: linuxconf: command not found" .
anybody can help me to fix the problem ?

Linuxconf should be installed first .. Go to this site and get the proper rpm for your distro.

Hi

Not installed buy default like the older RH distros can use something similar in the terminal try typeing in setup. It does not have all the functions that linuxconf had but at least some. I am not sure what function u need from linuxconf that is why i mentioned setup. I f it does not have what u looking for then use the commands

In Red Hat there are several utilities that replace linuxconf

ls /usr/bin/redhat-config-*
neat - for network configuration
