Question How can i setup a local repository on RHEL box which has no internet connection.


Hi Gurus,

I need an assistance, i have a Linux Box running RHEL and has no internet connection, hence i need to setup a local repository which i can be able to install packages together with their dependencies, may you assist me in how i can come up with that ?

This has been covered on here before:

and is covered in the RedHat knowledgbase, that you have access to, since you're paying for RHEL support, and subscription to the RedHat network.

Look at the createrepo command. Check Google...lots of how-to guides there.

One of the easiest ways I have seen is to use mrepo package.
