Display problem (ghosts and patches of color)

Hi all,

Here's the screenshots of my problem. The first one is obvious. In the second one, my desktop is red and I have a panel on the left. The patches, gray in this case, come up with certain websites. They vary with the website.

thanks for any help,
Max

That is weird. The only thing I can think of is maybe you have the wrong video driver installed... what kind of video card do you have? If it's nvidia, you can get drivers from their website. Search these forums if you have questions about installing nvidia drivers, since it's a pretty popular chipset.

Also, I had similar problems with my Creative Savage4 blaster card. Never did manage to fix it, but I didn't look too hard for drivers.

I was poking around and found that my all-in-wonder Radeon was configured for 64MB ram, but it only has 32MB. I tested a few programs and websites and everything looks good.

Thanks,
Max
