I haven't used the Powervault stuff but if you're connecting via a SAS controller then it seems the disks should show up as if they were local to the system much as they would from a fibre attached disk array.
If so the devices should be appearing as /dev/sd[letter(s)]. If you run "fdisk -l" it should show you any devices it thinks are already assigned.
It is possible you'd have to do something to rescan your SAS card (e.g. a system boot) for it to see the newly attached storage then run your "fdisk -l" afterwards. (It is possible lsscsi will show you the devices as well.)
The mount command can not be used on unformatted devices. A filesystem must have been created on the devices in some way first. Typically for presenting disks to a system you have:
1) Do the physical setup (which it appears you've already done).
2) Insure the system sees the devices (e.g. by rescan of the controller which will occur on a reboot if you don't know other methods).
3) Partition the devices (or use entire devices in something like meta-disk or LVM then use meta-disk partitions or LVM logical volumes).
4) Layout a filesystem on the partitions (or logical volumes).
5) Create empty directories to be used as mount points.
6) Mount the filesystem on the mount point.
In UNIX/Linux there are manual pages that can be viewed for various subjects that you can access by typing "man <command>".
Relevant man pages for above:
For partitioning: fdisk, parted, gparted
For metadisks: md
For LVM: lvm, pvcreate, vgcreate, lvcreate (and others)
For creating directories: mkdir
For laying out filesystems: mkfs, mke2fs, mke4fs (and others for NFS etc...)
For mounting filesystems: mount
You might want to have a look at Dell's site for documentation on using Powervault with Linux. They default to Windows for everything but often do have documents for Linux usage as alternatives. They also have a group for support for Linux so
if your equipment is still under warranty or support agreement calling them might get you the specific help you need.
Also Since this is RHEL6.3 you should be able to get specific RedHat help from RedHat's storage guide:
