Cannot reboot after initial installation of RHEL 5 on a HP xw4600 Workstation

I am building a dual boot system with windows xp and RHEL5. I've done this many times before but not on a HP xw4600 desktop.

The installation goes fine, but when the computer goes to reboot this is what it shows on the screen:

Code:
root (hd0,1)
Filesystem time is ext2fs, partition type 0x83
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-92.el5 ro root=LABEL=Red Hat rhgb quiet
 [Linux-bzImage, setup=0x1e00, sieze=0x1c3f9c]
initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.18-92.el5.img
 [Linux-initrd @0x37da7000, 0x248b5b bytes]

Memory for crash kernel (0x0 to 0x0) notwithin permissible range
ACPI: Getting cpuindex for acpiid 0x3
ACPI: Getting cpuindex for acpiid 0x4
Red Hat nash version 5.1.19.6 starting
mkrootdev: expected fs options
mount: missing mount point
setuproot: moving /dev failed: No such file or directory
setuproot: error mounting /proc: No such file or directory
setuproot: error mounting /sys: No such file or directory
switchroot: mount failed: no such file or directory
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

Kernel alive
Kernel direct mapping tables up to 140000000 @ 8000-e000
To me, in my very limited knowledge of Linux, this seems that for some reason the partition for RHEL 5 isn't being able to get mounted so that the file system can be accessed.

I have played around a bit in the bios changing some settings, mainly dealing with the sata hard drive controller, but I still get this same problem.

Any help would be very appreciated!

Is that root label correct. I am not too familiar with that way of booting, but can you actually have labels with more than 1 word in it? Otherwise, also try with root=/dev/sda2 (or whatever your root partition is called according to fdisk).
