Apache works localhost but not over the internet

I'm new to linux.

I have an apache 1.3.19 linux 7.1 gnome server.I have configured all of the apache settings. It works when I type in localhost or the inside ip (not a static ip) using that computer, but I have other computers and it will not work on them. Could someone help me?

By the way I know this is strange for a server but it is on a dhcp network. This could very likely have something to do with the problem.

hi,

first find out your computer ip with ifconfig command on which apache is running.

then use that ip to connect from different machine.

I have tried that. It did not work.

hi,

first check that you able to ping the machine on which you install apache.

Please also check the firewall setting of the computer on which you running apache.

maybe firewall not give you right to access web service.
