Unhappy Adding Menus to the Main Menu?

Greetings to all,

I am working with Red Hat v3.2.3-20 and I am trying to add menus the the Main Menu. I am not having any luck with this. Kind of new with Linux. I want to add a menu called Tools and then sub-menus under that. How do I do this?

Thanks ahead for any help from all you Linux Guru's

Later Dudes.

Right click your kicker (button that brings up main menu), Select menu editor, Select Add Folder, When folder added select it and click on the extended tab, if attributes are already there Right click the entry and select Modify attribute a dialog box will appear In the Attribute you put order, In Value you put the sub headings your require separated by a comma i.e. subheading1,subheading2,subheading3 etc. When you're done click save.

I tried right clicking on the kicker, but it only came up with options of menu and unlock. Also, grayed out were remove from panel and move.

I am using linux tle 5.5 (equivalent to fedora core 1) and gonome.

Where can I find the kicker?

Thank you.
