PCManFM automount usb

Hello all,

I have Tahrpup 6.0.2 with LXDE as the desktop enironment, making it LXPup. LXPup comes with the PCManFM File Manager and it's very useful, the only problem is that it doesn't automount usbs. I have already chosen the option to mount removable media when connected and to show available options in Volume Management under Preferences. Is there anything else that I need to do or a .pet that I need to install to enable this feature? Any help is appreciated.

I just use pmount myself. It should be in the menu.
So what it does not automount is my view.

I have pmount, but it doesn't automount usbs that are hot plugged. Also, when I plug a usb in it doesn't show up on the desktop, I have to open PCManFM and click on it to mount it.

I was able to kind of do what I wanted by installing the desktp_drive_icons-0.0.5-0.pet that came with LXPup. It doesn't automount and open my usb when I insert it, but an icon now appears on the desktop and it is easy enough to just click on it to open my usb.

Do you have a link to that .pet for other users reading this thread to find, for later on?

I don't have a link per se, it was an extra that came with LXPup, I found it by going to Menu -> Desktop -> Change appearance -> Options -> Drive icons. It seems it can also be found in /opt/lxpup-xtras along with other .pet files.
