I am trying to set up the souceforge Parallax Basic Stamp editor on an installation of Puppy Linux 5.7.1. I'm a newcommer to make and makefiles so could use help with an error I get.

As per the instructions, I run make against the makefile that came with the download and all appears to complete ok. When I attempt to run the resulting executeables (as suggested in docs) with:
bstamp_tokenize test.bs2 test.tok
I get a somewhat ambiguous error which says:
./tokenizer.so: undefined symbol: __gxx_personality_v0: Success
and the resulting .tok file doesn't get created.
I gather by googling around & reading, that this may have to do with selection of the compiler as cpp or c++ in the make file but I am at a loss.
Thoughts or advice?
