VFS programming

Hi guys, i need some help implementing a very simple filesystem. after reading the code of some kernel filesystem i can only code a module that let me mount and umount the filesystem and show me an empty root directory. If i implement the readdir function, when i ls the root dir of the filesystem the readdir is called over and over and i can't see my files. can someone help me

Can you post your readdir function? I'm trying to dig up my jtsfs code which implements a very simple file system. When I find the archive tar ball I've put it in I'll show you an example of how I did it.
