Transparent background affecting images.

Web page is here: http://texasflyfishers.org/Idaho/hanselman.html
Source of CSS example is here: http://www.w3schools.com/css/tryit.a...s_transparency

How do I overlay the images onto the top of the 'transbox' and not inherit the transparency.

Thanks for any enlightment you can shine my way.
Dave

I'd have a look at this article:

http://acidmartin.wordpress.com/2010...hild-elements/

Also, I'd recommend using html (http://validator.w3.org/) and css (http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/) validators as you work.

It's an uphill climb trying to make html/css do what you want when it's not properly formed in the first place.

Lyle.

Thanks for the reminder. I must admit I completely forgot about the existence of the validator.
I think I'll go off in a corner and feel sheepish.
