Starting with GUI programming: wxwidgets IDE?

I've been developping some apps (CLI) always using C++.
Now I'd like to start studing GUI programming. Thinking about portability to other Operating Systems (*Nix or not) I found interesting wxwidgets.

Anybody can give me a piece of advice on any IDE or form designer for wxwidgets? Or what steps do you think I might follow for start studing wxwidgets?

Thanks in advance,
Matías
