What type of SQL server do you have?

Are you looking for something command line or gui orientated?

I am using RH9 and I dont have any SQL server installed. I require a software which may be CUI oriented..(or GUI anyone wud do)

In my college, we have Windows XP and SQL Server is installed in which we practise SQL commands. The same commands, I wud like to practise at home. So in order to do that in Linux, which software wud I require?

(I hope this clears my unambiguity that might have been in the earlier question)

Hay U can practice SQL by using MySql available in Linux.

All u need to do is
--->type setup and add mysql service if not added (but mysql should be included while installing Linux).

--->restart the service alone or reboot the system if u dont know.

--->type mysql and u will get the prompt....where u can do any thing u want...
