Run an application in stealth mode

Hi,

I want to make a daemon-like application for Linux platform. How to make that application to run in stealth mode?

I really appreciate any help, workaround or code snippet.

Thanks & Regards,
Manoj Kumar

An example for you: a stealth airplane is hardly visible to radars in centimeter/decimeter range, but can be seen in optical range (that's why they flew at night) and can be seen by meter range radars.

@ Sergei Steshenko : In fact it wasn't an answer to you,

but to show the OP, what ' stealth mode ' can be used for
in Linux.
