real time recompiling
Ok, I have a telnet like system in which I need other coders to be able to log into it, make code and be able to compile code.
I have a core that will always be running but then I have a way to attach dynamic libraries to it.
The only way I see to add new stuff to it is more or less give them their own console so that they can call compile commands and navigate through the file system.
So is there a way to give each person their own console
a way to port lines from the console to them.
or lastly what I was thinking is set up commands that my system will call that will allow them to see what's in the file system but no direct access to the console, but this would require a way to port data from the konsole to their screen. Something like when you call "ls" it will call that in a konsole and send everything to their socket.
I know of the "system()" function, and a few others but I have no idea how to capture the commands out put to a string i can manipulate with my program
is there a way to do any of these? if many are possible, which do you think would be best?
thank you
