Hello all, can anyone suggest a program that I can use that will allow me to use an equalizer to modify the signal going into my soundcard? I want to be able to plug a CD player (or something) into my soundcard and then modify how it sounds in real time. The equalizer for xmms would be good if I could apply it to whatever is coming into the soundcard.
I thought I might be able to use aRts in KDE but I can't find out how to capture the audio input signal or if that is even possible in aRts.
Thanks for any help/suggestions.
I've found a way of doing real-time EQ now, using ecasound, what a great package that is. I never thought a command line multi-track tool could work but after spending a bit of time with it, I have to say it's great.
Thanks anyway.
