Open Source Website Search Engines

Hi peoples.

I am building a php website where the client wants a search function. They dont want to use the google engine as it will create a page with lottsa google logos and stuff.

Can anybody recommend a open source solution that will allow the search to search through both static html pages and the mysql database tables to create a output page that i can easily modify to fit the overall website theme?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,
Ben.

htdig : very thorough, slow
namazu : very fast, doesn't have similarity tests, only equality
