Size of search engines

hi can anyone point me to some links that show the index size of the major search engines ,I have searched on the web but haven't found any good results

Sorry for posting this topic here I thought it was the General fourm but it turned out to be the Linux General fourms ,I hope that someone will move it .

I doubt you could get any specifics, since any active web-search service is likely to have a constantly-changing index. According to the Wikipedia article on Google, Google's search index is several terabytes in size (and they run Linux!)
