mplayer-plugin for mozilla firefox on mac osx

To whom it may concern,

Does anyone know how to install or build the mplayer-plugin files for mozilla firefox on mac osx? Or is there a site that already has it built? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a intel macbook pro with leopard on it. Also I cannot login as root on the terminal while I am the normal user.
