Does anyone know how to install or build the mplayer-plugin files for mozilla firefox on mac osx? Or is there a site that already has it built? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a intel macbook pro with leopard on it. Also I cannot login as root on the terminal while I am the normal user.
How can I install mozplugger from source on mac osx? Or is there a build of mozplugger for mac osx? If there is a build can someone post the link to it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Why do you even want to do this in the first place? Quicktime with Perian codecs pack handles almost all file formats. Regardless, I doubt mplayerplug-in would work with the Mac-native version of Firefox. If you really want to do this, install MacPorts. Then, install Mozilla Firefox and mplayerplug-in via MacPorts. You will need XQuartz and Xcode to do this.
