Question Linux scripting question

I'm not even sure this is the correct forum, but here goes.

I am using RedHat Linux in command-line mode, and run 'top' in one of the sessions to help keep track of system resources, much like the Task Manager in another OS. Another of my scripts runs everyday using cron, but when it runs, top is stopped. How can I resume running top in the same terminal session once my automated script is finished? Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Djinn

Huh? What do you mean? Is top replaced off your terminal screen by the output of your cron job?! That is really weird, because cron is supposed to email you the output from any job it runs...

I think I replied to this one in the general forum already. You might want to be careful with double posting, I think it makes the moderators angry.
