javac not working

Hi,

Actually in my system jdk1.4 was installed before, now when I needed an upgraded version I simply deleted the jdk1.4 directory, then I installed jdk1.5.0 the latest version.
Now javac isn’t working although I have added the path .bash_profile.

Kindly solve my prob

-What distro are you using?
-Copy your $PATH here.

To use Java 1.5 (Slack 10), I simply installed it, added the PATH and CLASSPATH to /etc/profile (global...).

Even with the old java installed, it works very well.
