I Need Data in PostgreSQL

Can someone please help me get some generic or test data into my database? I don't know how to write any scripts to generate test data into my table but I've got PostgreSQL 9.3 and a single ROLE / TABLE configured and I'd like to test out the database with some real world data. Do you guys have suggestions on how to fill it w/ data with using a CMS, Wiki, or PHP forum software if a script wont work?

That's an incredibly broad request, but Yahoo Geoplanet's data is freely available:

I think that you want help to

.

So first you need to tell us the structure of your (single) table and it's name (so that others can figure out the application).

Then you need to learn basic scripting and insert one or two rows into your table and next multiple rows from an external flat file.

So how do you do this? Insert commands normally look like" INSERT INTO yourtablenamegoeshere (field1name, field2name ..) VALUES (v1, v2 ..)

Try it. Not very difficult. Whats holding you back?

OK
