HELP!!!!! ftp client


downloaded "zarr.net/vb/download/codedetail.asp?code=249" ... very good porgram except one problem .. theres no place to specify a port field ......... thus i cant connect to any other servers using a diff port than 21 ... if anyone could explain how to do this ... or personally code one in that would be rgeat, and if needed i can pay the coder via paypal. Please don't refer me to a text .. Im tryign to find someone to code it themselves or tell me excactly how, Im pressed for time .. thanks -c4

In that code the Visual Basic method:

Public Function OpenConnection(strServerAddr As String, strUser As String, strPass As String) As Boolean

is used.
Obviously you can't supply the port.

Why do you ask such questions in a Linux Forum ?

lol ... the forum said all programming langs accepteed ... and im not using this for myself, its going to be the core of something else im creating that interacts with the server.
