Generic not Genitic you idiot

Can someone help me ? I was trying to config a agp video card and selected a Genitic monitor rather that generic. Every thing boots normal till x starts then the screen blacks out. I can still login and password but I am blind. How can I get my Fedora core login screen back. Joe
