Gaim Plugins

I am trying to modify a plugin for Gaim and I need something like the perl timeout_add callback but for C. Is there no documentation on Gaim plugins anywhere? I have been looking for hours but I find nothing. First, where is all the documentation? How is a new plugin developer supposed to know what he/she can or cannot call or do in a plugin? Second, how do I use the g_timeout_add call in C?

I apreciate the help!

you can do anything you are capable of coding and your imagination really... seeing as there are over 100 plugins for gaim already, most people would appear able to make them jsut fine. http://gaim.sourceforge.net/api/pages.html loads of good info there. also good to pick a small pluin and read through it. as fot timeout functions, check the API and Tutorial at gtk.org

Thanks for the help. I did not know you could use any GTK call. I was under the impresstion there was some API that gaim implemented / interpreted that I had to follow. I got it working now.

Thanks
