Encoding the strings...


Hi all,

I am in the process of studying a GPS program, where i found the following line,

chCmd=strCmdDele.latin1();
where,

strCmdDelete is of datatype "Qstring" in the qt program.
So, this converts the string to the latin1 coding it seems.


Since, i am going to rewrite the program using C, i want to know whether any predefined functions are available to convert the string to latin1 coding...Any links regarding this....

All suggestions are welcome...
