DBus question

Hi, I am trying to start the dbus-daemon on a Davinci Board from Texas Instruments. It is runing the MontaVista OS.

I am in the /usr/bin directory and I type:
dbus-daemon --system

and I get the following error:
Failed to start message bus: Unknown error 1073839232

I have copied all the correct binaries to the usr/lib and usr/bin directories.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Why do I get this message? I know very few of you (if any) will have done what I am doing (On the Davinci Board) but I really would appreciate any help you can give. Surely someone has seen this message before.

Thanks
