Right, so I've written a few programs with Kylix Delphi and compiled them to create "application/x-executable-binary" files, but when I try to run those files from X Windows nothing happens. I assume binary executables only can be run from a terminal or whatever and that I'll need something like
InstallMade to create a standalone X Windows executable file, but I'm kind of a Linux newbie so I need these things cleared up. I can run the programs from within Kylix just fine and when I try to run them from a terminal it at least tries to, but I get a relocation error and nothing starts. ("undefined symbol: initPAnsiStrings".)
Any help?
Edit: Oh yeah, if it helps, I'm using GNOME on RedHat 7.3 on a VMWare virtual machine.
