I compiled with NO problem a simple "Hello, World" program in Kylix and had generated the said Executable with the Default settings.

However; when I try to load or execute the said "Hello, World" program outside of Kylix, it does not run. Error message posted was it can not load the file "bplvisualclx.so.6.9 - the said file or directory does not exist".

My setup ? I had my Target folder set in the environmental variables list under Kylix's Tool option and I had also edited and included my Target folder under the /etc/ld.so.conf file. Yet, the error message still comes out and I can not execute the simple "Hello, World" program still.

ex.: my Target folder is " /home/public " and i'm log-in as root user and this folder had also been included in both the LD_LIBRARY_PATH and in the /etc/ld.so.conf file.

Please advise Thank You, very, very much.....
