country list


hi y'all,


i have to add to a register page a country list, so the user can choose his/her country of residence, i don't know how to do it (drop down perhaps??) and i really would appreciate some help please.

or maybe just tell me where to find it....

Does the list have to be dynamic or interact with code? Are you just looking for the list?

thank you for your response.

as you can see im a newbie
i guess it should be on a drop down (php of course) and if you do a click on it it should show you all the countries, i don't know but i guess it should show you the cities too depending on the country you selected.

example:

if you select usa then the city list would have to change and show you the list of cities on usa and you then will pick salt lake city.

so i think it should involve some code
sorry 'bout that my english is not so good

that is PHP
i wanted to say that , I have worked somewhat in PHP but i have never gone for that module in PHP

If you just need the list of all countries, feel free to grab the list by "view source" from a site I just finished.
