Given papers like http://www.cs.fsu.edu/~xyuan/paper/07tdsc.pdf and http://research.ijcaonline.org/volum...pxc3892036.pdf outlining network simulation (MANET), algorithm (ZSBT) or means of filtering (IDPF): please present in detail what research you have actually done yourself to understand and configure the necessary requirements? If you have not done any research and hope to get the complete answer to your question here without putting in any effort then please note you should not post homework assignments verbatim. We're happy to assist if you have specific questions or have hit a stumbling point. Let us know what you've already tried and what references you have used (including class notes, books, and searches) and we'll do our best to help. Keep in mind that your instructor might also be an LQ member.

*Minor nit: while we are lenient by default (English may not be your first language) and realize you "need" something (else you wouldn't have asked for it) you could improve your chances by phrasing your request as a polite question: "I would like help with" or "Please help me" and use a question mark.

Sorry if you found the language little rude and not polite. I did not mean to be so.
I have searched on the given topic and am trying to implement http://www.cs.fsu.edu/~xyuan/paper/07tdsc.pdf paper though not completely. I am trying to create its simulation on ns2. Since it uses BGP protocol, i have patched ns2 with ns-bgp. But now i am required to apply routing policies mentioned in the paper, to the BGP protocol for the network and am not getting on how to do so. Please can anyone further guide me on this?

Have you run the ns-bgp validation test scripts successfully?
Have you turned ns-bgp on and configured BGP routing agents and neighbors?

I have tried to follow all the steps mentioned in http://www2.ensc.sfu.ca/~ljilja/cnl/.../#Using_ns_BGP and the tested the the sample bgp programs given with it and it did successfully run.
I am very new to ns2 as well as linux. The paper mention certain specific routing policies to be applied to BGP for routing purpose. But I do not know how to do it. So please if you can help me on how to apply the policies?
