C++ Programming on Linux Cont'd


Can you give me some links to sites dealing with C++ on Linux Operating Systems. Perhaps some tutorials.

C++ is good in Linux as anywhere. If you are wanting to do graphic (X-Windows) programming, then you need to choose a toolkit and read up on that. If you want to do SDL or SVGALib, then that is where you want to look. It all depends what you want to do (the libs you use) but C++ is still C++. You just compile it with Gcc and it works.

I'd recommend you give Qt
a shot ... it's the core of KDE, freely
available for non-commercial use
(no, it's NOT GPLed :/), has a very
good, fairly complete and consistent
(unlike MFC) Class-library.
