c program CLI interface question.


Want to allow user to input a string and store it.

Catch is the user can only be able to input a maximun of 10 character, but he can still press backspace and such.

Any idea?

I don't understand what you mean exactly.
Do you mean you want to have a promt from the program, where the user can only put 10 characters?

If this is the case I would start with ncurses:
