Question BER for wireless link


anybody knows how to get the BER (Bit Error Rate) from the wireless link? What I want is some library function.

what I mean is 802.11 network. I have managed to get the SNR by wireless extensions tools but the way to convert from SNR to BER is still in secret. I'm using Cisco/Aironet 350 series wireless card.
