Mepis questions

I'm thinking of getting MEPIS, but what WM does it come with? I prefer GNOME or XFCE, and does it come with GCC, Open Office, and the GIMP?

And what should I get first, SIMPLY MEPIS, or MEPIS PRO?

MEPIS ships with kde but getting gnome or xfce is trivial at best. yes it comes with gcc OO.o and the GIMP.

MEPIS Pro is an abandoned project that has had no work since late 2004. SimplyMEPIS is what you want.
