Mandrake was the first distro I ever used, I think version 5 or 6 something. I have used every release except the 9.2b (I am downloading the beta release now). I have used tonnes of other distros but I still like mandrake best.

There is one problem I have, I cannot seem to shutdown the X server.

I have tried ctrl, alt, del. But it just restarts it and logs out. I have tried killing the X server but it just crashes, I have managed to do it by restarting and selecting interactive mode and not starting it, but I cannot seem to find how to shut it down without restarting.

I am trying to do it on a server that has been running for 3 months now with no interruptions, and have been testing it out on a mandrake 9.1 box of mine.

Any suggestions?
