where can i get X includes from?

Hi there,

I was trying to install Amaroke (the latest version) and ./configure gave me the error that I am missing X includes.

I printed by PATH variable and i got the following
usr/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin/:/usr/games:/home/worf/bin:/usr/java/jdk1.5.0_01/bin

which tells me that the headers are in my path and ./configure should be able to see it but it doesn't.

any help will be appreciated.

thank you

Probably the 'x-devel' rpm or the like. The headers would be in */include and not on your path.

Or you could just "urpmi amarok", and get the latest rpm for Mandrake.

(You would need to set up your urpmi repositories first - see my sig for EasyUrpmi.)
