Weird bug on Internet Sharing Wizard
Greetings.
I write this post becuase recently my internet sharing wizard in Mandriva 2007 Free stopped working for some reason.
Scenario: Linux Mandriva 2007 server which is the one sharing the internet connection and serving files, AND a windows client pc which only needs internet. Basic home setup.
Everything was working just ok until i restarted my Windows machine. Then it (the windows machine) couldnt connect to internet, yet the LAN network stills works perfectly; i can browse, write and read files on both machines forth and back. And the linux pc has internet normally.
So i decided to put up again the connection, more likely, stop the sharing, then put it again, and when i am in the 'internet sharing' wizard over the configure your computer it says there's not an ethernet network interface to configure, that i should run my hardware configuration wizard.
And so i did, everything was alright, i deleted and reinstalled the network card again anyways. Didn't work at all. The wizard still insists that there's not a network interface to share an internet connection. And the linux box still has internet normally.
I also checked if for some reason my ISP changed my DNS, but apparently they did not.
Please help... What module i should upgrade or reinstall to fix this? Its so strange.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
