More modem troubles.

Internet configuration wizard does not seem to be able to detect my modem. Windows told me that my modem is a Conexant D110 MDC V.9x Modem. Does linux need drivers to see the modem?

If it helps in any way here is the output of the lspci command, I'm not sure exactly what you would need to see so I'll leave it all in.

Andrew - "RTFM" answers aren't really appropriate at LQ. If you have a recommendation/advice to offer it is welcome, but just directing people to do a Google search isn't necessary. Thanks -- J.W.

Edit - it appears this thread has gotten off on the wrong foot, and there's little hope of recovery, so I'm closing it.
