Hello,
Is there an upgrade option for moving from mandriva one kde to mandriva free so I would not have to install all the applications I have installed in the past few days to make the OS usable and redo all the customization to the look of the OS?
Early in the installation process it will ask if you want to upgrade your existing system or do a clean install.
Although, all you really need to do is to install any additional packages that you want. They are all available on the mirrors. This is probably the preferred method.

Hello,

If you are using Mandriva One KDE 2008, then all you need to do is go to easyurpmi and setup the various main, contrib, plf and updates repos for Mandriva 2008. After that you can access any of the software in Mandriva Free 2008.
I am already using easy urpmi but I am having too much difficulties installing apache samba php mysql and in the same time I do not want to loose the
ATI drivers installed by mandriva one cd
so what do you recommend? Shall I start new posts on installing these servers or I sall install mandriva free and save your efforts and mine?
I would just try to solve the server issues (anyway Mandriva One is a subset of Mandriva 2008, so why waste time reinstalling unless you have some sort of critical problem).
