Can anyone help me I want to rename my Wastebasket (Mandrake 9.1 Gnome desktop) is it possible and how do I do it ?

Just right-click on the trash icon and select 'Rename'

I just did it on mine. I suppose it's possible that it does not work on older Mandrakes, I'm running 9.2rc2

running mdk9.1. gnome 2.2
he's right. that option is not available for
the mounted drives and the trash bin.
