Sound problem

I have recently installed 9.1 and am unable to use my onboard soundcard. I am using the ASUS A7N266-VM motherboard. Control Center recognizes it, but is module is displayed as unknown.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Your on-board card is viaAC'97, right?
If so, then check your card driver. If the currently used driver isn't via82cxxx_audio, replace with it!

Thanks Tony!

I am still very new to Linux, and this board has been a great help so far!
