I have an install of 9.2 running as init 3 or in text mode. The problem is that on the console the screen is only utilizing 3/4's of the monitors screen. Where can I change the resolution for the system console. This thing has a small 15 in monitor and it's driving me nuts.

I've googled video resolutions and all it's got me are resolution changes for x which on this particular server I don't need. I've also goolged video for runlevel 3 and didn't get anything that way either. Anybody out there know where the vid resolution is set in the init scripts. I've used DrakConf to change the screen resolution to 640x480 but it doesn't seem to do the trick.

I looked at the vga entry in the lilo.conf. It was set to 788 so I ran lilo to make sure it was installed and I still got the same problem. I changed vga to 769 and lilo'd again and rebooted still no joy. I had them swap in a 17 in monitor and they are happy with it for the moment...let me stress for the moment.

I'm open to other suggestions.
