Question about VMWare

Ok I'm thinking about trying VMWare 4.5, but first I have a question. I run Mandrake 10, but there is some windows software that I absoulutely have to use. :-( The downfall with this software is it's not very common, so it won't work under wine or wine x or crossover office. Also, it needs to be able to sync with an Ipaq Pocket PC. Will I be able to do this using VMWare in Mandrake with XP installed on it? I sure hope so because it's now my only option for completely removing Windows which I would really like to do.

You can sync with an IPaq without windows...

How? I haven't found a way to do it yet and I've been searching a lot. Plus as I said I would need VMWare or Win4Lin to run the software for work because it won't work under any wine program.

Well, one of the iPaq on linux or running linux on your iPaq tutorials abounding the net should answer that for you. Google it.

So if I understand correctly you can't sync an IPaQ to a Linux pc if you are using WinCE on the IPaQ?
